Jackson was admitted to the hospital on September 30th with 103 fever. It was really scary because for almost 24 hours we didn't know what was wrong. Thank God for Dr. Hanson. She wanted to do a spinal tap because she just had a gut feeling. It turned out to be viral meningitis. She is the best doctor ever, we were so thankful for her! It was incredibly scary and the first day in the hospital was awful. They poked and prodded him in just about everyway you can. They ran tons and tons of tests so he was NOT a happy baby. He's much better now though! Aside from a TERRIBLE case of diaper rash from the antibiotics, he is pretty much back to normal. He still gets really fussy and I think it's because he's getting headaches, which is a common symptom of meningitis. Please continue to pray for us because Dr. Hanson said that his symptoms can last up to 2 weeks. :o( Here are some pictures from the hospital and a few from tonight when we got home!
You can't tell he was feeling terrible from these pictures, he was a little trooper!
